Thank you for your interest in Cristo Rey Jesuit. We are excited that you have chosen to learn more about our school! Below you’ll find information about the application process. Admissions Requirements
How do students qualify for admission to Cristo Rey Jesuit High School?
- We are looking for students who have demonstrated academic potential and motivation. They must show us they have the desire to attend a school that demands more of their effort, time, attention and maturity. They will need support at home in order to be successful in our school.
- Our students have to be “employable,” which is to say they have to have the maturity to work in an office environment with adults.
- In order to be considered for admission, a prospective student must live in Baltimore City, come from a moderate-income family, and be 14 years old before he or she starts high school, in order to work in the Corporate Internship Program.

High School Placement Test
All applicants must take the High School Placement Test on Saturday, December 3, 2011.
Check-in at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the test.
****All students taking the test must pre-register for it by calling 410-727-3255, ext. 1004.
Application
The early action deadline for admission is Friday, January 6, 2012. After that date, applications will be accepted until the freshman class is full.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the files. You can download it free from Adobe's website.
Applicants are also asked to provide the Admissions Office with the following materials.
- Copy of the applicant’s Social Security Card
- Copy of the applicant’s Birth Certificate
- Copy of their 2010 federal tax 1040, W-2, and any other income forms. Please include all schedules and attachments.
- Non-refundable application fee of $50.00. Please make checks and money orders payable to Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Cash is also accepted.
Please ask the applicant's current school to send the following to our office:
- Copy of the applicant’s 7th and 8th grade report cards
- Copy of applicant's standardized test scores
- Copy of health and immunization records
- One School Recommendation Form to be completed by a teacher who knows the applicant well. Download Recommendation Form.
Applicants will also need to:
- Schedule a family interview by calling the Admissions Office at 410-727-3255, ext. 1003 or ext. 1004.
- Take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at our school on Saturday, December 3, 2011. Please call for registration and test start time.
