Teaching and School Staff

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School educates motivated students from low-income families in Baltimore, in order to prepare them for college. The school program includes both a high quality college preparatory curriculum and a corporate internship employment program. Cristo Rey Jesuit will expand in the fall of 2010 to add the twelfth grade to its existing ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade classes. The school will hire faculty and staff in each of the following areas to continue to build its strong academic program:

• English

• Mathematics

• Sciences

• Social Studies

• Spanish

• Theology

• College Counseling

We are also seeking to hire a freshman Academic Skills Teaching Assistant.

Desired Experience and Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in field

• Successful experience working with urban high school students

• Evidence of effective human relations skills

• Personal commitment to the Jesuit mission in education and work study nature of the school

• Patience, stability, talent, and flexibility needed to respond to the demands of a growing school
