Supporters who join the Legacy Circle by remembering Cristo Rey Jesuit in their wills have an important role in the future of our school. Planned gifts help to ensure that Cristo Rey Jesuit can continue its mission of providing an affordable, high-quality college preparatory education to students from disadvantaged Baltimore City neighborhoods in the years to come.
As a donor, you may direct your gift toward:
Bridges to the Future Fund: This important fund supports our operating budget and allows us to provide a first-rate educational program every day.
The Aysha Ring Memorial Scholarship Endowment:
The Aysha Ring Memorial Scholarship Endowment has been established so that Aysha's spirit may live on in the hearts and minds of members of the Cristo Rey Jesuit community. Her memory will continue to provide for students through this endowment, which will make a college preparatory education possible for students from disadvantaged Baltimore City neighborhoods.
Scholarship Program: The cost per student in these foundational years is approximately $14,000 per student, per year and it is funded in three ways: 1) Families make a modest contribution (they pay an average of $860, and a maximum of $2,500). 2) Students contribute their Corporate Internship Program earnings toward the cost of their education in the amount of $6,250 each year. 3) We secure a scholarship in the amount $6,250 per student, per year to offset the remaining costs. Therefore, a full, four-year scholarship pledge is $25,000, payable over a four year period.
If you are interested in partnering with one of our students through our scholarship program, please contact Jessica Wescott, director of development at (410) 727-3255 extension 1006 or jwescott@cristoreybalt.org.
